Alina LeClaire

Alina LeClaire, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, is an Assistant Professor of Nursing at the School of Health Sciences, American International College. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner) from AIC, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and multiple associate degrees and certifications from Greenfield Community College. Her research focuses on improving vaccination rates in walk-in clinics, the impact of prior clinical experience on nursing student learning, and enhancing aseptic techniques in clinical practice.

Dr. LeClaire is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). She is also trained in SBIRT (Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment), Non-Violent Intervention, and Stop the Bleed. She actively contributes to professional organizations such as the Massachusetts Coalition of Nurse Practitioners (MCNP), American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), and American Nurses Association (ANA).

Her teaching responsibilities include courses in Adult Medical Surgical Nursing, Complex Medical Surgical Nursing, Nursing Leadership, Pathophysiology and Pharmacology, and Professional Issues for Advanced Practice Nurses.
