Alida Liberman

Alida Liberman is an Associate Professor of Philosophy at Southern Methodist University. Her research focuses on ethics across multiple dimensions, including practical reasoning, normative ethics, and applied ethics (particularly bioethics), alongside feminist philosophy and inclusive pedagogical practices.

• Education: Ph.D. from the University of Southern California (2015)

She previously served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Indianapolis (2016–2018) and a postdoctoral fellow in applied ethics at Western University’s Rotman Institute of Philosophy (2015–2016). Her work bridges theoretical and applied ethics, with a strong emphasis on classroom inclusivity and pedagogy.
