Alice Peng

Dr Alice Peng is a Lecturer in Mathematics and AI at the School of Mathematical Sciences, Lancaster University. Her research bridges mathematical modeling with biomedical applications, focusing on cellular dynamics, tumor evolution, and environmental phenomena.

Research Interests:

• Mathematical modeling of tumor evolution and surgical resection impacts
• Agent-based and reaction-diffusion models for wound healing and cell polarization
• Biomechanical analysis via traction force microscopy
• Application of advection-diffusion-reaction models to wildfire dynamics

Activities: Active member in professional societies including the European Society for Mathematical and Theoretical Biology, SIAM Student Chapter Delft, and Dutch-Flemish Scientific Computing Society.
