Alice Goodwin is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. She holds combined DDS/PhD degrees from the University of California, San Francisco, and completed her orthodontics residency at UCSF. Dr. Goodwin is a Diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics.
Her research investigates craniofacial development using mouse models to understand the biological mechanisms underlying cleft palate and TMJ disorders. Dr. Goodwin maintains a triple role encompassing patient care in orthodontics, resident education, and laboratory research. Her work has been recognized by the AADOCR MIND the Future program.
