Ali Khalid Khan

Ali Khalid Khan is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at Yale School of Medicine, Yale University. He holds an MD from the University of Virginia (2020), a PhD in Biophysics (2018), and a BSc (Honors) in Chemistry from the University of Virginia (2009). His research focuses on structural biology and biophysics, particularly the study of membrane proteins such as gap junction channels using cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM). He has contributed to understanding pH-regulated mechanisms in gap junctions and drug delivery systems.

Dr. Khan's work bridges experimental and computational approaches, including integrative structural biology and molecular dynamics. He has received the Ruth L.
