Ali Bayyati

Dr. Ali Bayyati is a Senior Lecturer and Programme Coordinator for Construction, Property and Surveying at London South Bank University since 2004. He has previously held academic positions at the University of Leeds, University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, and University of Hertfordshire.

His research focuses on construction project management, surveying, and construction technology, with an emphasis on sustainability and mental health in the construction industry. His work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in areas related to infrastructure and well-being.

Recent publications include studies on historical building restoration, mental health analysis during the pandemic, construction waste reduction in Egypt, and railway safety. He manages advanced surveying equipment like UAV drones, GNSS systems, and total stations within the School of the Built Environment and Architecture.
