Ali Al-Khattawi is a Lecturer in Pharmaceutics at the Aston Pharmacy School, part of the College of Health and Life Sciences at Aston University. His academic journey includes postdoctoral roles at the University of Leeds and Aston University, followed by a Lecturer position at De Montfort University before returning to Aston in 2016.

His research focuses on pharmaceutical particle design and fabrication strategies, particularly spray drying for solubility enhancement, control of particle structure, and meso/macro-porous carriers for drug delivery.
