Alfredo Rizza

Alfredo Rizza is an Associate Professor at the University of Verona, affiliated with the School of Arts and the Department of Historical and General Linguistics. His research spans interdisciplinary domains within linguistics, philology, and grammatology.

• Research Focus: Historical & Comparative Linguistics, Grammatology, Aegean and Anatolian Philology, and Theoretical Linguistics.
• Projects: Leading PRIN 2022 on Hittite Anatolia plurilingualism, and contributing to initiatives like Indogermanische Grammatik and LautSchrift&Sprache.
• Teaching: Offers courses in Glottology, Historical Linguistics, and Linguistics & Computer Science for Bachelor’s and Master’s programs.
