Prof. Alfons Weichenrieder is a full professor of Economics and Public Finance at Goethe-University Frankfurt and serves as a research-oriented guest professor at the WU Research Institute of International Taxation. He earned his doctorate in economics in 1995 from the University of Munich under Hans-Werner Sinn. Prior to joining Goethe University in 2002, he held academic positions at the University of Munich, Princeton University, and the University of Vienna.
