Prof. Dr. Alfons Kemper is a Full Professor of Computer Science at Technische Universität München (TUM), leading the Chair of Database Systems (Computer Science III) within the School of Computation, Information and Technology. He has held academic roles since 1984, including Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science at TUM (2006–2010) and Head of the Department of Computer Science at TUM since 2022.
