Alexis Taylor is Head of Art & Design at the University of Northampton's Faculty of Arts, Science and Technology. He holds a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design from Cambridge School of Art and a PGCE (2009). With industry experience in music, fashion, and clients including The Open University and BBC, he has taught graphic design since 2001.
His research explores typography, vernacular text expressions, regional identities, and the intersection of graphic communication with architectural space and emerging digital technologies. He curates the Osborne Robinson Poster Collection (20,000 artifacts) and maintains an active graphic design practice specializing in commercial typography, branding, and spatial design.

- Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (2016)
He teaches modules for BA Graphic Communication Design and BA Interior Architecture and Spatial Design programs.
