Alexey Milekhin

Alexey Milekhin is a Postdoctoral Scholar and Research Associate in Theoretical Physics at the Institute for Quantum Information and Matter (IQIM) within the Division of Physics, Mathematics, and Astronomy at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech). His research focuses on foundational questions in quantum gravity, black hole physics, and quantum information theory, with particular emphasis on holography, entanglement entropy, and wormhole dynamics. He explores theoretical frameworks connecting quantum systems to gravitational phenomena, including studies of Sachdev-Ye-Kitaev (SYK) models, operator growth, and measurement-induced phase transitions.
