Alexey Garber is an Associate Professor in the School of Mathematical & Statistical Sciences at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. He earned his Ph.D. from the Steklov Mathematical Institute (2009) and specializes in discrete geometry, combinatorics, and computational geometry.
Research interests include:
- Polyhedral combinatorics and space tiling
- Voronoi polytopes and lattice structures
- Delone sets and aperiodic tilings
His publications reflect strong focus on geometric algorithms, lattice theory, and discrete optimization, with recent advances in high-dimensional parallelohedra.
