Alexandru Apostol

Alexandru Apostol is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University. He has been a faculty member since 2000 and serves as an Attending Anesthesiologist at University Hospital at Downstate.

Dr. Apostol specializes in airway management, simulation-based medical training, and regional anesthesia. His clinical practice is centered at University Hospital at Downstate, where he has held leadership roles including Director of Anesthesia at SUNY Downstate at Bay Ridge and Director of Obstetric Anesthesia at Kings County Hospital.
