Alexandros Psychogios

Prof. Alexandros Psychogios is a Professor of International Human Resource Management at Birmingham City University (UK) and a Visiting Professor at ALBA Graduate School of Business (Greece). He holds a PhD in Industrial & Business Studies from the University of Warwick. His expertise spans International HRM, Leadership, and Total Quality Management, with a focus on organizational behavior in turbulent contexts. He has authored/co-authored influential books like Neuroscience for Leaders and Managing People in SMEs in Turbulent Contexts.

His research explores leadership in complexity, crisis management, and ethical consulting. Notable awards include the Benedictine University Award (2020) for work on crisis leadership. Prof. Psychogios has advised organizations globally and contributed to journals such as the British Journal of Management and Human Resource Management Journal.

He previously served as Deputy Head of Work & Organization Group at Loughborough University and has held roles at institutions like the University of Sheffield and Hellenic Open University. His consultancy projects address performance management and reward systems in diverse sectors, including SMEs and public administration.
