Alexandrea R. Golden is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Memphis, specializing in clinical psychology. Her research focuses on sociocultural factors influencing resilience among racially minoritized youth exposed to racism, with particular emphasis on school racial climate, peer racial socialization, and youth participatory action research (YPAR). She holds a Ph.D. from the University of South Carolina, an M.A. from New York University, and a B.A. from Spelman College.
Dr. Golden’s work addresses systemic inequities in education through studies on racial climate, digital divides, and intersectional impacts of discrimination.
