Alexandre Lavissière is an assistant professor at KEDGE Business School specializing in logistics, transportation, supply chain, international trade, and strategy. He serves as a World Bank expert on logistics issues in the Middle East and North Africa and has worked at institutions including EM Normandie and the Port Institute for Education and Research in Le Havre.
- Education: Graduated from KEDGE Marseille (2004), completed PhD at KEDGE
Research Focus: International trade, logistics and transportation, free ports, port marketing, and airport ground handling. His work examines strategic alliances in shipping, Arctic transportation systems, and sustainable port marketing practices.
Recognition: Winner of two research awards and mentor for PEMA challenge-winning student teams. Publications appear in Maritime Policy & Management, Human Relations, and Transport Policy.
Global Experience: Has held visiting professorships at the University of North Florida, HELP Kuala Lumpur, and ESA Beirut. Conducted consulting work across 20+ countries for governments and international institutions.
