Alexandre Lévy

Alexandre Lévy is a Lecturer and Training Manager for the Master's program in Clinical Psychology at the Université Catholique de l'Ouest (Angers), where he also serves as Vice-Dean for Research. He holds a HDR (Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches) in Clinical Psychology from Université Rennes 2 (2019) and a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the same institution (2007). His research focuses on fundamental and psychoanalytic psychopathology, including neuroses, psychoses, perversions, and the clinic of fantasy and trauma. He is a key figure in the RPPsy research team (Recherche en Psychopathologie et Psychanalyse), leading interdisciplinary programs exploring the impact of digital technologies on subjectivity and social relations. He has organized numerous national and international events, including conferences on psychoanalysis, modernity, and digital society. His academic roles include supervising doctoral theses, coordinating research programs, and directing research seminars on clinical and theoretical topics.
