Alexandre Fagnan

Alexandre Fagnan is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Oxford, affiliated with the Nerlov Group: Hematopoietic Stem Cell Genetics within the Nuffield Department of Clinical Laboratory Science. His work focuses on elucidating the molecular mechanisms governing hematopoietic lineage fate decisions in both normal and malignant contexts.

Research Interests: Alexandre investigates how transcription factors interact synergistically or antagonistically to regulate hematopoietic lineage development, emphasizing protein-protein complexes, chromatin binding, epigenetic modifications, and chromatin looping. His current project centers on erythroid-myeloid lineage segregation in myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN), leveraging RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, and transgenic mouse models at bulk and single-cell levels.
