Alexandre Da Costa is a Professor in the Department of Educational Policy Studies at the University of Alberta's Faculty of Education since 2015. Previously, he served as Adjunct Assistant Professor at Queen’s University. He holds a PhD in Development Sociology from Cornell University (2009). Fluent in Portuguese and conversational in multiple languages, his work focuses on anti-racism, police in schools, settler colonialism, and whiteness studies.
