Alexandra Wagner Laghezza

Dr. Alexandra Laghezza is a Clinical Assistant Professor and Capstone Coordinator in Yeshiva University's Occupational Therapy Doctorate program. She combines clinical expertise in geriatric care with research on aging, dementia, and occupational justice. Her work investigates how environmental and socioeconomic factors impact aging populations.

Research focuses on dementia care models, aging-in-place challenges, and occupational barriers faced by older adults. Her 2021 publication in Societies examined the interplay between caregiving support, financial constraints, and successful aging in place for cognitively impaired individuals.
