Dr. Alexandra Vlachos is a Senior Research Scientist and Lecturer at the Centre for Development and Environment (CDE) at the University of Bern. Her work focuses on environmental history, sustainable forestry, and the intersection of colonial land-use practices with Indigenous knowledge systems. She teaches in the Transformative Education and Science Impact Area and has conducted fieldwork in Australia, Canada, and Switzerland.
