Alexandra Tunstall is a Professor of Art History at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), holding the position since 2018. She previously served as an Adjunct Professor at SCAD and Agnes Scott College, and held roles in curation and academia in New York and Washington D.C. Her academic journey includes a Ph.D. from Columbia University, alongside advanced degrees from the University of Kansas and Oberlin College.
Her research focuses on Chinese art history, particularly textiles, Ming Dynasty artistic practices, and the role of women in traditional art.
