Dr. habil. Alexander Scherr is a Professor at the Department of English and American Literature and Culture at the University of Giessen, Germany. He is also affiliated with the International Graduate Centre for the Study of Culture (GCSC). Scherr specializes in narrative theory and its intersections with literature, science, and transnational cultural studies, with a particular focus on the Anglophone novel and essay.
