Alexander Mandl

Alexander Mandl is a Professor of Violin at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside with extensive experience as a soloist, conductor, and chamber musician. He holds a DMA and has performed internationally at venues including Carnegie Hall. His academic leadership includes directing multiple orchestral ensembles.

Research interests focus on string pedagogy and performance practice. Awards include the Francis B.F. Rhodes Prize and King's Crown Leadership Excellence Award.
