Dr. Alexander Lee is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Comparative Biomedical Sciences at LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. He joined the faculty on January 6, 2025, and holds both a BS (2017) and PhD (2024) from Louisiana State University.
His research integrates 3D printing, biomechanics, and engineering to advance veterinary prosthetics and educational tools. Current projects focus on tensegrity-based canine prosthetics and anatomical modeling innovations. Key research areas include:
- Development of low-cost 3D-printed veterinary medical devices
- Biomechanical analysis of animal movement pathologies
- Creation of interactive anatomical teaching models
- Prosthetic design optimization for improved animal mobility
Dr. Lee has received several honors including:
