Alexander Jill

Jill Alexander is a researcher at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), affiliated with the School of Health, Social Work and Sport and the Department of Allied Health and Sport. Her work focuses on cryotherapy applications, sports injury management, and musculoskeletal rehabilitation. She holds a PhD (2023) and MSc (2012) from UCLan. Alexander has published extensively on topics including cooling modalities in sports recovery, athlete performance metrics, and interdisciplinary team dynamics in high-performance sport.

Research interests span thermal therapies, sports biomechanics, and the physiological demands of elite athletes.
