Alexander Balatsky

Dr. Alexander Balatsky is a Professor of Physics at the University of Connecticut. His research focuses on quantum materials, Dirac systems, superconductivity, and quantum sensing techniques. He holds a Ph.D. from the Landau Institute of Theoretical Physics and previously directed the Institute for Materials Science at Los Alamos National Laboratory.

Research areas include noise spectroscopy, DNA spectroscopy, and topological phases in condensed matter. Professional affiliations include APS and AAAS fellowships.
