Alex Turrini

Alex Turrini is an Associate Professor in Public and Nonprofit Management at Bocconi University, where he serves as Director of the MSc in Arts and Cultural Management and Economics (ACME) and Scientific Supervisor of the Arts, Sport, Entertainment and Culture Knowledge Platform within SDA Bocconi School of Management. His research focuses on arts administration, cultural policy, philanthropy, and diversity in arts organizations. He has held visiting professorships at Southern Methodist University (USA) and serves as Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Arts Management.

His work explores topics such as cultural networks, fundraising strategies, and the role of arts in local development. Notable projects include studies on accessible cultural practices (e.g., InclusivOpera) and the impact of digital transformation on arts funding. He has contributed to policy debates on public sector leadership and governance, emphasizing resilience and adaptability in turbulent environments.
