Alex McTaggart

Alex McTaggart is the University Academic Lead for Transnational Education at the University of Manchester, overseeing flexible learning programs across faculties. He holds roles as Visiting Professor (Johannes Kepler Universitat, 2021-22) and External Examiner at institutions like King's College London and Coventry University. His research focuses on educational equity, global crises, and leadership in transnational contexts, employing theories of Bourdieu and Habermas. He chairs the BELMAS Research Interest Group on Comparative and International Education and co-edits the Educational Management Administration and Leadership journal.
