Alex M. Denault

Alex M. Denault is an Adjunct Professor of Law at the Benjamin L. Crump College of Law, St. Thomas University. He is the Founding Partner of Denault Law, specializing in domestic/international tax matters, estate planning, and corporate transactions. Previously, he served as Managing Director (M&A Tax) at KPMG and as a tax partner at Akerman LLP.

Education: B.S. in Accounting (University of Florida Fisher School of Accounting), J.D. (University of Florida Levin College of Law), and LL.M. in Taxation (New York University School of Law).

His professional leadership includes past roles as President of the Greater Miami Tax Institute and Vice Chair of the American Bar Association YLD Real Property, Trust & Estate Law Committee. He is a frequent international speaker and author on tax-related topics.
