Dr. Alex Kojo Anderson is a Professor in the Department of Foods and Nutrition at the University of Georgia (UGA), with an adjunct appointment in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics. He leads the UGA Ghana Summer Service-Learning Program, focusing on nutrition and health interventions in deprived communities. His research emphasizes infant and maternal nutrition, breastfeeding promotion, dietary assessment technologies, and global health disparities. Dr. Anderson holds a PhD in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Connecticut and prior degrees from the University of Ghana.
