Alex Knaster

Alex Knaster is an Executive Fellow of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at London Business School. He holds a BSc from Carnegie Mellon University, an MSc from New York University, an MBA from Harvard Business School, and a PhD from the Russian Academy of Sciences. As a seasoned businessman and investor, he founded Pamplona Capital Management in 2004, which now manages $15 billion in assets. His career spans roles at major investment banks, including CEO positions at Credit Suisse First Boston’s Russia branch and Alfa Bank. Philanthropically, he established scholarships at Carnegie Mellon and founded The Mark Foundation for Cancer Research, serving as its Chairman.
