Alex Jennings is a doctoral student and instructor in the University of Pittsburgh’s Composition and Rhetoric Program, affiliated with the Dietrich School of Arts & Sciences and the Department of English. She earned her MA in English (2021) from Youngstown State University, where she taught first-year writing. Her research explores intersections of queer theory, disability studies, and writing pedagogy, alongside digital humanities and cultural rhetorics. Current work examines AI’s role in redefining neurodivergent writing processes and disciplinary objectives. She has been nominated for the 2024 A&S GSO Elizabeth Baranger Excellence in Teaching Award and contributed to educational partnerships between two- and four-year colleges. Her publications are currently in progress, including pieces in Xchanges and constellations, with a coauthored chapter forthcoming in a guide on college writing program collaborations.
