Alex Avgud is a Russian-born photography artist and educator affiliated with the Royal Academy of Art (KABK), where he contributes to the Bachelor Photography program. His work merges photography with choreographed performances to explore themes of human autonomy, migration, queer sexuality, and political contexts. As an educator, he mentors young talent in initiatives like the Copenhagen Photo Festival and a creative laboratory in Russia for underprivileged youth.
Alex graduated from KABK with a BA in Photography in 2019, winning the Photo Talent Award at the 'Best of Graduates' exhibition.
