Alessandro Sciarra

Alessandro Sciarra is a Full Professor of Urology at Sapienza University of Rome, where he serves as Director of the Urology Specialization School (2022-2025). With an h-index of 44 and over 9,271 total citations (Scopus 2024), his research has significantly influenced European Urology Association (EAU) guidelines through pioneering work on multiparametric MRI applications in prostate cancer diagnosis and management. His academic journey began with graduation in Medicine and Surgery from Sapienza University in 1990, followed by specialization in Urology in 1995, progression to University Researcher in 1998, Associate Professor in 2015, and Full Professor in 2021.
