Professor Alessandro Rosina is a Full Professor of Demography and Social Statistics at the Faculty of Economics, Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan. He directs the 'Center for Applied Statistics in Business and Economics' and has held academic roles at the Universities of Padua, Sassari, and Milano-Bicocca. His leadership roles include Director of the Department of Statistical Sciences (2015-2019) and Scientific Coordinator of the Youth Observatory of the Toniolo Institute (since 2011).
Research focuses on demography, social policy, and public health with emphasis on youth employment, pandemic impacts, and regional demographic trends. Recent work includes studies on NEETs, fertility during the pandemic, and cross-country analyses of post-pandemic social dynamics.
