Dr. Alessandra Recchia is an Associate Professor in the Department of Life Sciences at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, specializing in molecular biology and regenerative medicine. Her research focuses on viral vectors, genome editing technologies (CRISPR/Cas9, TALEN), and their therapeutic applications for genetic disorders including muscular dystrophy and retinal diseases.
