Alessandra Bertoldo

Alessandra Bertoldo is a Professor in Bioengineering at the Department of Information Engineering, University of Padova. She leads research in quantitative neuroimaging, mathematical modeling of biological systems, and multimodal imaging analysis.

• Member of IEEE-EMBC Technical Committee on Biomedical Imaging and Image Processing
• Board Member of the Padova Neuroscience Center (since 2016)
• Vice-Director (2017-2022) and Director (2022 onwards) of the Padova Neuroscience Center
• Referent for the Master’s Degree Program in Bioengineering and Bachelor’s Degree Program in Biomedical Engineering

Research Interests: Her work focuses on mathematical models for PET/MRI analysis, imaging genetics, nonlinear mixed-effects modeling, and translational neuroscience applications.

• Teaches Imaging for Neuroscience (Master’s) and Statistical Methods for Bioengineering (Bachelor’s)
• Active in national/international collaborative research projects
