Alena Marková

Mgr. Alena Marková, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Historical Studies, Faculty of Humanities, Charles University in Prague. She is a leading expert on national processes in Central and Eastern Europe, focusing on nation-building, post-Soviet transformations, language policy, and historical consciousness. Her work spans Belarusian studies, Soviet nationality policies, and contemporary geopolitical dynamics in the region.
