Dr. Aleksandra Zuk is an Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing at Queen’s University, with cross-appointments to Public Health Sciences and the Department of Physical & Environmental Sciences at the University of Toronto. She holds a PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Toronto (2018), an MPH from École des hautes études en santé publique (Paris), and a BNSc from Queen’s University. Her research focuses on cardiovascular and cardiometabolic disease etiology, environmental health, Indigenous health, and leveraging big data/machine learning to improve healthcare outcomes for women and children.
