Alejandro Riano is a Visiting Teaching Fellow in Economics at Queen Mary University of London (since 2023) and a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Economics at City St George’s University of London. He previously worked at the University of Nottingham and the Inter-American Development Bank in Washington DC. His research focuses on how individuals and firms adapt to globalization, with publications in top journals such as the Journal of the European Economic Association and Journal of Development Economics.
