Alejandro Gutierrez

Alejandro Gutierrez is an Assistant Professor at the College of Sciences, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM). His research focuses on the growth and characterization of transition metal oxides coatings, thin films, interfaces, and nanostructures, with expertise in electron spectroscopies and synchrotron radiation-based techniques. He also works with graphene and carbon-based materials, advancing on-surface chemistry studies.

Teaching: He instructs Physics I (Degree in Chemistry) and the Advanced Materials Laboratory course (Master in Advanced Materials and Nanotechnology).
