Dr. Alejandro García Mas is a Professor in the Department of Basic Psychology at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB), where he has been a full faculty member since 1992. He teaches Cognitive Ergonomics, Sports Psychology, and Basic Psychological Processes in the Psychology and Pedagogy Degrees, as well as Sleep, Dreams, and Their Disorders in the Official Neuroscience Postgraduate Program. He also contributes to postgraduate programs at UNED, Autonomous Universities of Madrid and Barcelona, and the Official College of Psychologists of Valencia.

- Co-Director of the Master's Degree in Sport Psychology at UIB and Central University of Chile
- Secretary General of the International Society of Sport Psychology
His research focuses on Sports Psychology, Physical Activity, Ergonomics, and Sleep Disorders, leading the Physical Activity and Sport Research Group (GICAFE) at UIB. He has supervised 9 doctoral theses (1999-2014) and participated in 15 competitive state and regional projects, including current R&D work on combat helicopter pilots' mental workload and the Erasmus+ PsyTool project promoting positive sports practices.
