Dr. Alejandro Flores-Arocha serves as an Adjunct Professor of Environmental Science in the School of Mathematics, Science, and Engineering at the University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) since fall 2022. A Systems Engineer, Ecosystem Ecologist, and Environmental Manager by training, he brings a multidisciplinary approach to urban studies with dual goals of enhancing city resilience and advancing theoretical frameworks for human settlements globally.
