Alec Schramm

Alec Schramm is a Professor of Physics at Occidental College, appointed in 1992. His office is located in Hameetman Science Center 119 with office hours on Tuesdays 11:30am-1pm and Wednesdays 1:30-2:30pm.

He authored the textbook Mathematical Methods and Physical Insights: An Integrated Approach (Cambridge University Press, 2022) and teaches courses including mathematical methods in physics, relativity and cosmology, modern physics, and quantum mechanics. His research bridges theoretical frameworks with practical physical insights across nuclear and particle physics domains.
