Alberto

Alberto is a Research Professor of Entomology at the Valencian Institute of Agricultural Research (IVIA) in Spain, specializing in the intersection of insect science and sustainable agricultural practices. He actively engages in international research collaborations through the Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program.

His research focuses on applying entomological principles to develop environmentally sustainable farming systems, emphasizing pest management strategies that reduce ecological disruption while maintaining crop productivity. This work bridges fundamental insect biology with real-world agricultural challenges in Mediterranean climates.

Alberto has secured Fulbright grants for research residencies at major U.S. institutions, including a 2022 appointment at the University of Florida (hosted by Jawwad A.
