Dr. Alberto Rinaldi is a postdoctoral researcher at Lund University's Department of Law, where he has worked since August 2022. His research bridges traditional legal scholarship with emerging emerging disruptive technologies and artificial intelligence in global conflicts and security challenges.

Dr. Rinaldi's research explores the intersection of human rights with contemporary security challenges, including cognitive warfare, biometric technologies, and neuroage privacy. His work addresses the balance between counter-terrorism measures and fundamental freedoms, while examining the implications of AI in migration control and biosecurity threats from genomic technologies.
