Alberto Neder

Dr. Alberto Neder is a Professor of Medicine at Queen’s University, Canada, and Medical Director of Pulmonary Function Tests Laboratory at Hotel Dieu Hospital and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program at Providence Care Hospital. His expertise lies in clinical respiratory physiology, focusing on mechanisms of breathlessness and exercise intolerance in chronic cardiopulmonary diseases, particularly COPD. He holds appointments as a respirologist and physician scientist, with cross-appointments to the Department of Biomedical and Molecular Sciences. His research spans clinical exercise physiology, pulmonary rehabilitation, and integrated care for chronic respiratory diseases.
