Alberto N. García

Alberto N. García is an Associate Professor of Film and Television Studies at the School of Communication, University of Navarra in Spain. He holds visiting professorships at the University of Queensland (Australia) and the University of Stirling (UK), and has been a Visiting Scholar at George Washington University (USA). His research focuses on screen studies, universal values, and the politics of representation. He is a member of the research group “Bonds, Creativity, and Culture.”

His work has been published in journals such as Continuum, International Journal of Communication, and New Review of Film and Television Studies, among others. He edited the book Emotions in Contemporary TV Series (Palgrave, 2016). His current research explores intersections between screen media, cultural values, and representation frameworks.

Collaborations include international academic exchanges and contributions to interdisciplinary discussions on media’s societal impact.
